Terms of Service

Welcome to WorshipConnect. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platform, iOS mobile application, and related services (“Service”).

By creating an account, accessing the Service, or using any features of WorshipConnect, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About WorshipConnect

WorshipConnect is a platform that helps churches, worship leaders, and musicians connect, schedule, and coordinate worship services and related activities. We are not a church, employer, agency, or contractor for either party.

2. Eligibility

To use WorshipConnect, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required by Apple App Store policies and your local laws).
• Provide accurate information when creating an account.
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes and church-related activities.

If you are creating an account on behalf of a church or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.

3. Account Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Not share your account with others.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
• Keep your profile and information accurate.

WorshipConnect is not liable for any damage or loss caused by unauthorized account use.

Apple App Review may access the Service using provided demo or review credentials for verification purposes.

4. User Content and Behavior

You may upload content such as profile photos, musician information, church service details, and messages. By uploading content, you grant WorshipConnect a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, store, and process your content solely to operate the platform.

You agree not to upload:

• Illegal content
• Copyrighted material you don’t own
• Offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content
• Spam or unsolicited advertising
• Anything that interferes with the Service

We may remove or disable content that violates these Terms.

5. Churches and Musicians: Relationship and Liability

WorshipConnect is only a platform. We do NOT hire musicians, employ churches, guarantee availability/punctuality/performance, mediate disputes, or assume responsibility for agreements made between users.

All arrangements (payment, rehearsal, performance, logistics) are between churches and musicians, not with WorshipConnect.

6. Bookings, Payments, and Fees

If WorshipConnect processes bookings or payments:

• Fees will be clearly displayed before checkout.
• Churches authorize WorshipConnect and/or third-party processors (e.g., Stripe) to charge payment methods.
• Musicians authorize payouts to their linked accounts.
• WorshipConnect does NOT store full credit card details. All payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

7. Communication Tools

Our Service may include messaging features. You agree not to misuse communication tools for harassment, spam, abuse, or inappropriate content. We reserve the right to monitor or restrict communication if necessary for safety or compliance.

8. Termination and Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the platform, upload harmful content, or engage in fraudulent behavior. You may delete your account at any time.

9. Intellectual Property

All content created by WorshipConnect — including logos, branding, text, design, visuals, and code — is owned by WorshipConnect. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, or exploit any part of the Service without our permission.

10. Third-Party Services

WorshipConnect may link to or integrate with third-party tools such as payment processors (Stripe), analytics tools, map services, etc. We are not responsible for third-party terms, practices, or data handling.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee continuous or error-free operation, specific outcomes for bookings, or accuracy of information from other users. Use the Service at your own risk.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• WorshipConnect is NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
• We do NOT assume responsibility for agreements between churches and musicians.
• Our total liability, if ever applicable, is limited to the amount you paid to WorshipConnect in the past 12 months.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold WorshipConnect harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and legal fees arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the new Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Jurisdiction is exclusive to the courts located in New York.
